MWOS FC eyeing two wins in a row

After a very good performance against Trojan Stars FC, the Punters are looking to extend their unbeaten run to four games and also earn a second league win in the process.

Confidence is certainly booming in the MWOS FC camp. They beat Trojan Stars away from home by two goals to one in the last match. The win left them sitting in sixth position on the league table, four points below the league leaders. An improvement in attack was seen as the Punters scored two quick goals in the first half that eventually earned them the win. The same is expected as they face a rather struggling Banket United FC.

Banket United FC are currently in 15th position on the league table with one draw and two defeats. They certainly head into the match as underdogs, and the punters are expected to grab a win easily. The possible return of captain Marshal Kawashu in midfield is expected to boost the team. Newly discovered goal scoring form by Jerry Makangira, Authur Banda, Matin Nhubu, and Jim Gwara is expected to boost and increase the conversion rate.

The only absentee from the squad will be Lindel Mupfumisi, who is still out with a foot injury. Head Coach Wonder Ngoko will be expecting to continue to give fans something to smile about by beating Banket United FC. The game will be played on Saturday, April 22, and kickoff will be at 15:00 hrs.
