Innocent Masiiwa Returns to MWOS FC
MWOS FC has officially welcomed back prolific striker Innocent Masiiwa, marking a sensational homecoming for the fan-favourite forward after a six-month stint with Bikita Minerals. The striker, who played a pivotal role in MWOS’ NRSL campaign last season, returns to Norton with a point to prove and a burning desire to fire the club to new heights.
Masiiwa left the club at the end of his contract in December 2024. His blistering form at Bikita Minerals—where he netted seven goals this season, establishing himself among the league’s elite marksmen—proved his undeniable quality. Now, with MWOS locked in a tight title race, sitting second only on goal difference, his return couldn’t have come at a more crucial juncture.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, an emotional Masiiwa expressed his delight at reuniting with the club he calls home. “Norton and MWOS Ngoni Stadium have always been my home, and it feels incredible to be back,” he said. “I’m joining a side fighting at the top, and my mission is clear—score goals, help the team achieve its objectives, and make the fans proud.”
The striker also reserved special praise for MWOS head coach Lloyd Mutasa, describing him as a mentor and father figure. “Coach Lloyd has been instrumental in my growth.
