Investing in the Future: MWOS FC Launches Youth Development Raffle at MWOS Ngoni Stadium
MWOS FC has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to youth football development through the continued expansion and strengthening of its Academy pathway. The club’s tiered system — comprising the MWOS FC Under-17s, MWOS FC Under-19s, and the MWOS Junior League for younger age groups — remains central to the organisation’s philosophy of “catching them young” and nurturing raw talent from the earliest stages of their footballing journey.
These development tiers were established with the clear intention of giving every young person — boy or girl — a genuine opportunity to play the beautiful game. This approach aligns directly with MWOS FC’s wider agenda of inclusivity, community upliftment, and long-term sporting excellence. The Academy has become a cornerstone of the club’s strategic plan, ensuring a continuous pipeline of talented players ready to graduate into the senior squad or progress into professional opportunities both locally and internationally.
In recognition of the Academy’s importance and the financial investment required to sustain elite youth development, MWOS FC launched an official fundraising raffle at MWOS Ngoni Stadium. The initiative underscores the club’s belief that the future of football in Norton lies in structured, well-resourced junior development — an investment that will pay dividends for generations to come.
During the launch event, MWOS FC presented a fully framed and autographed first-team jersey to the Club Patron, Mr. Tamson, as a gesture of appreciation for his unwavering support, service, and sacrifice to both MWOS FC and the Norton community. This symbolic handover recognised his pivotal role in the club’s growth and his steadfast presence throughout its milestones.

All proceeds generated from the raffle will be channelled directly towards junior player development within the MWOS FC Academy. The club remains steadfast in its mission to empower young footballers by providing quality coaching, structured competition, and a professional environment in which their talent can thrive.
