MWOS FC Senior Team Begins Preseason Camp in Beitbridge
MWOS FC’s senior team arrived in Beitbridge yesterday evening, kicking off an intensive preseason camp designed to prepare the squad for the upcoming campaign. The move marks a critical phase in the club’s preparations, focusing on physical conditioning, tactical drills, and squad integration to ensure the team is fully ready for competitive action.
While Head Coach Lloyd Mutasa and the technical leadership team are currently away in England at the Etihad campus, the preseason sessions on the ground are being expertly managed by Coaches Tembo Chuma and Farai Hanyani. The coaches are taking charge of daily training routines, ensuring that players not only maintain peak fitness levels but also internalize the tactical strategies that will define MWOS FC’s playing style this season.
Club Captain Tafadzwa Nyabunze has been actively involved in motivating the squad and helping integrate new signings with the returning players. Speaking at the camp, Nyabunze emphasized the importance of this period: “Preseason is the time to build fitness, understand the system, and create a strong bond among teammates. We are committed to making every session count so that when the season begins, we hit the ground running.”
With Head Coach Mutasa overseeing preparations remotely, the technical team is staying in close contact with the coaches on the ground to monitor progress and provide guidance where necessary. The club has also committed to keeping fans engaged, promising regular updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and insights from the camp as MWOS FC continues its build-up towards a successful season.
As the preseason unfolds, all eyes will be on Beitbridge, where MWOS FC is working hard to ensure that when the competitive fixtures kick off, the team is not only physically ready but tactically sharp and united as a squad.
