Another Historic Milestone for MWOS FC

MWOS FC is proud to announce that three of our standout players – Carlos Mutapiri (U17), Ralph Charuma (U19), and Principe Magondo (First Team) – have joined Romanian side UTA Arad for a three-month developmental attachment.

This initiative has been in discussion since February and comes to fruition this winter following six months of rigorous assessment, visa processing, and logistical planning. The programme is designed to provide our players with firsthand experience of European football, offering them a platform to develop their skills and the potential to earn permanent professional contracts.

“UTA Arad is a historic club with a rich pedigree of producing top-tier talent,” said Wilson Mutekede, Technical Director at MWOS FC. “Having our boys enrolled in such a programme is a massive achievement for our club. They will be well-cared for, expertly trained, and exposed to a higher level of professional football. We deeply appreciate the efforts of the Romanian club and everyone involved in making this partnership possible.”

This marks a significant milestone for MWOS FC, as these three players are the first from our ranks to embark on a European attachment. It serves as a testament to our club’s vision and commitment to youth development, reinforcing our dedication to creating clear pathways and delivering excellence.

Adrian Stefanescu, MWOS FC’s Development Manager, added, “Building a future for our club starts at the grassroots level. This achievement proves that we have established a clear trajectory from our youth structures to the first team and ultimately to international clubs. Our focus now remains on working hard to scout, recruit, and train Zimbabwean talent to prepare them for our first team, national duties, and professional opportunities abroad.”

We wish Carlos, Ralph, and Principe the very best of luck. We look forward to seeing them showcase their talent and potential in this new, highly professional environment.
