Coach Tendai Nyathi Continues to Champion Grassroots Football Development

MWOS FC U17 coach Tendai Nyathi continues to demonstrate his commitment to grassroots football development through his work with young players.

Last week, Coach Nyathi took his passion for developing the next generation to St Eric, where he conducted training sessions for children between the ages of five and 11.

The sessions provided the young players with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game in an environment focused on enjoyment, discipline and development.

Adding to the coaching effort, seven MWOS FC U17 players took on coaching responsibilities, working with the different age groups throughout the programme.

The involvement of the U17 players gave them valuable experience in leadership and coaching while allowing the younger children to learn from players who are already progressing through the MWOS FC development pathway.

For Coach Nyathi, the initiative reflects a broader commitment to ensuring that football development starts at the grassroots level.

His involvement in grassroots football also extends beyond his work with MWOS FC, having previously worked with SuperSport in the same area, further highlighting his experience and interest in nurturing young talent.
