“I’m Going to Push On”: Ndeunyema Embraces ZPSL Challenge

Namibian international Dawid Ndeunyema is thrilled to be back on the pitch for MWOS FC after recovering from an early-season ankle injury. In this morning’s press features published by The Herald and H-Metro, our 23-year-old striker opened up about his transition to Zimbabwean football and his burning ambition for the rest of the campaign.
Ndeunyema has already made a massive impact since his return, registering three goals and three assists in just six matches for the Punters. Notably, he has emerged as a lethal weapon from the touchline, with two of those assists coming directly from his trademark long throw-ins.

Speaking to the publications, Ndeunyema admitted he has been blown away by the sheer toughness of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. “The football is much more professional here, and this league is tougher than the one I used to play in,” he noted, adding that every single match feels like a cup final. Despite his brief spell on the sidelines, the former Blue Waters man remains highly focused on hitting his personal target of 10 to 12 goals this season to help push the team into a strong position.

While the club continues its push up the table, head coach Lloyd Mutasa assured fans that the team’s fighting spirit remains completely unwavering. Acknowledging that the squad has been a bit unlucky with recent results, Mutasa promised that the boys will “fight until the last game and see where we will be on the final day of the term.”
