MWOS FC Battle to a Point at Luveve

MWOS FC were forced to settle for a point after a hard-fought goalless draw against Chicken Inn FC at Luveve Stadium.

The Punters started the contest with intent, looking to take control of the game and create openings against a determined Chicken Inn side. Both teams showed plenty of energy, but clear-cut chances proved difficult to come by in the opening stages.

MWOS FC goalkeeper Tedious Baye was called into action when Chicken Inn threatened from a free-kick, producing an important save to keep the scores level.

The Punters continued to search for an opening, with Nigel Makumbe testing the Chicken Inn goalkeeper from distance as MWOS FC looked to break the deadlock.

The second half saw MWOS FC increase the pressure in search of a winning goal. The Punters created opportunities, including a promising move involving Makumbe and Arthur Banda, but the Chicken Inn defence stood firm to deny the visitors.

As the game progressed, both technical benches turned to their substitutes in an effort to change the momentum of the contest. MWOS FC introduced fresh legs, including Arthur Banda, Tinotenda Mutyambizi, Mathew Murambiwa and Marcelline Mlilo, as the Punters continued pushing for a breakthrough.

Despite the late pressure, neither side could find the decisive touch, and the referee brought proceedings to an end with the scores still locked at 0-0.

The result extends MWOS FC’s impressive unbeaten run, with the Punters continuing to show resilience and defensive solidity.
